So the folks at Terra Footware have some ads out. These ads are funny,
have sex women in them and promote the idea that those women might actually
sometimes wear boots. Don’t take my word for it, go watch the ad online. In addition, now that I know who
they are I think I really like some of the shoes (specifically the “Oxidizer”
athletic shoe and the “Spanner” mid cut boot in brown and/or black).
Obviously, this is making the radfems crazy, I mean, doesn’t Terra know only
chicks that hate men wear boots? Or something. I don’t pretend to understand. I
know that it has cute girls who don’t seem ashamed of their bodies (there is
some nudity) or their fashion choices… so obviously the ms. folks hate
them.
Predictably, the insane fem posse called for a boycott and a letter writing
campaign. In my attempt to help, I sent the email shown below to the company at
the address the panic stricken masses provided ( [email protected] ). I suggest
you offer your support as well.
Since I am sure you are getting a lot of hate mail, I wanted to take a moment
and let you know that not everyone on the planet hates men, pretty women or has
lost all touch with the concept of humor.Please remember that most of the people who are threatening to boycott you
don’t wear shoes most of the time, would probably boycott you because they don’t
like something else about your company and generally aren’t ever happy.Rock on, do what you want, don’t knuckle under.
