Of railguns and chicken…

I know, I know. I have not posted very much of late. I have been very busy and I keep thinking “tonight, I’ll do my first audio post and that will make it all better”. Additionally the creation of Web/Lint has allowed me to make my “hit and run” link posts without cluttering this blog up. However ti may be that clutter was all I had for now.

But none of that is important.

What is important at this juncture is that I was just now vividly reminded how cool the people I know are. In a world of insane freaks who have nothing else to do with themselves but be angry and feel persecuted I am glad that my insane freaks are much more interesting. Below is an entry to his blog from one dethb0y, an interesting person who has turned into a good friend over the years of our acquaintance. I have no doubt that when it all goes to hell he will be the guy in the manhole cover armored bus mowing zombies down to get to the nearest mall… and when we make CB radio contact you can bet your ass I am heading in that direction.

I am constantly amazed that friends of mine can, as deth does, hold forth on Stephen King, dive deeply into probability theory and rail gun physics and still take the time to review (and well I might add) a frozen dinner.

Buffalo Chicken: Not For Me

IT’s interesting to note i did improvise a bit on this one. The instructions said to remove the plastic cover; i instead left the cover on but loose, for the first portion of the cooking, then removed it entirely for the second (a 2 minute cycle, to finish heating up everything, i imagine). this worked quite well, and i was quite content with the texture and quality of the food it provided.
